MABEL GARRISON

Mabel Goshell Garrison Siemonn was a Peabody 
Institute of Baltimore graduate (1911).  She went 
on to international fame and the Metropolitan Opera
 where she was a favorite of Toscanini who admired 
her musical proficiency.

This Crest treasure features sixteen of her most 
successful Victor recordings, ten arias and duets 
and five charming art songs.  These include a 
rare, unpublished aria from Meyerbeer's Les Huguenots .  
Garrison recorded exclusively for Victor Talking 
Machine Co., who released thirty-one of her recordings 
between 1916 and 1924.
