EDITH
MASON – SOPRANO
Edith Mason had one of the loveliest and
most admired voices in opera – her too few recordings are sought after today
as rarities indeed. Crest is
pleased to release a special two-hour CD & Audiocassette of Miss Mason
consisting of an hour interview by Studs Terkle (Chicago radio celebrity –
1966) and most of her known Brunswick recordings from her personal collection
including three unpublished songs with piano accompaniment by Frank Black.
